Yeah also thinking of that the marketplace and vault in general have alot of scrollist showing information. vaulttab have it besides in the guildvault section.

All open ears why you think it wouldn't? and like i wrote in my first post and Niclas said ,it will only show people with vault. I highly doubt guilds like MO even have 30-40 active players with vault even when they are almost 900 users. Is there even 30-40 active people in any of the bigger LS guilds at the moment? Like EE, Storm, OP, DS, UA, etc? Most likely not.
Marketplace has a scrollist for attributes for items and its 39 attributes on the list. Theoretically shouldn't be a issue to have it work the same way with guild vault transfer list to have up to 39 people showing up there. But im not a coder/programmer so im just thinking for myself here and posting this suggestion to see peoples opinions and the outcome of it. Paul is the one having the finalword here.
Could always stresstest this on the betaserver to implement it there, let any bigger guild with alot of users have vault and see if there will be to big of a issue and crasch or what not.

Eventhough 700 active vaults are unlikely at this time it might not be in the future. So you have to keep that in mind.

I feel like it would help if you can save up to 5 vault ids yourself, your suggestion may have too much problems from a coding perspective as the Dropdown menu would most likely be a live database view causing a lot of stress on the backend

Edit: Yes, I don't care about space or not since it could be a sensitive info. I would prefer to have a custom list of ppl but if it's easier with active vaults I don't mind

While not perfect I prefer the status quo over the proposed system I dont think there is an elegant fuctional way to do the pull down menu. Also think how many time you put an item in the wrong vault catagory or transfer to the wrong mule an imagine how many times items will be in the wrong users vault.

Why not have the pull down menu in guild vault same way as on the market? It's 39 lines in the pull down menu for attributes on market search and haven't seen or heard any complaints about that.


Regarding accidentally sending items to wrong user through vault, it's happening already while sending skillables to several different people and also accidentally sending your main gear besides the skillables. Sure its harder to send to wrong user if you have to type in their vault number then having a drop down menu. But it still happens.
To prevent that could be that you choose which ones you maybe want to have on your drop menu list with a checkmark.
Still barely ~40 people have voted but major of the votes are positive to this suggestion.

Everytime you click the pull down it would have to query the server to see who at this very second has an active vault and populate the list. Paul not going for that.

if it isn't feasible as suggested perhaps even just something as simple as allowing customizable drop downs similar to what was just done for vault categories.

there's like 5 ppl I send stuff to regularly as I solo and even just being able to manually preset those vault IDs into a drop down myself and then select them each time versus typing them in each time would be a fantastic quality of life update
