Is it better to buy a Smart TV or a Regular TV + Firestick/Roku stick?

Depends on price and if you care about having dongles.

Mostly all tv's are going to be smart capable. Unless you're spending quite a bit it's usually always better to use a dongle.

You'll notice a lot of input lag on cheaper smart tv's.

Buy a gg tv with a good panel, like tcl 6 and then get urself a Nvidia shield. Fuck firestick

I regret wasting money on my lg c8 TV, their smart aspect of TV is pure trash. Used 4k firestick til I got the shield and I shdnt have wasted money on the stick either

Basically this, I don't even bother looking at my TV's smart features I just make sure and focus on the things I want it for.

There's so many devices you can get to expand it's smart features anyways.

Not sure if you can even get a non smart tv anymore.

But regardless, just buy the best tv don’t focus on it being smart or not. Fire sticks are cheap, 4k, and can hack them
