Do an Ironman tourney series. There’s like 3-5 solid Ironman character types and each round everyone would use the same one.. score up points at the end of a series that presumably only has events once a week or something... would be cool as hell.. not a ton of messaging and waiting for individual duels to happen but it would require 8 people on at a time. If there were 2 brackets it would be two groups of 8 that seeded the top 4 from each side for one final Ironman lol I dunno there are a variety of possibilities. Some good ironman types were the lvl9 boulder Druid one bjcummings used to do.. we were gonna do one where everyone is a lvl9 barb that leaps until the last merc is dead and then everyone norm attacks or uses a bow.. would need to be uniform of course lol... lvl12 disc sin was a good idea but Ironman tourneys fell flat for years, I’m sure there’s a couple others to make up 1 or 2 more rounds.. duels would always take place on a map that had a decent cube between the moor and some adjacent space CP or something

Ive been trying to do off the wall events like these for years, but it really boils down to: people are lazy.

Dudu boulder events have been done to death though imo. I used to run them monthly in like 2008/2009.

I have a bunch of event ideas (and all of the chars are ready to go), but we can never get more than 4 people on at the same time so the events never fire off.

how about nobody even logs in and we just put theoretical matches up against each other and say who would win, could do 1vs1, 4vs4, hell even 2vs2. obviously you couldn't do 3vs3 with this method.
