Hey hey! This forum sure is dead now and I haven’t been active much in years. Not sure if anyone I used to play with is still here or not.

I’ve been away from cod for awhile but I’m planning on playing Cold War. Anyone wanna play the midnight release and beyond? I’ll be on Xbox and I’m in the eastern time zone. I’ll probably be kinda bad because I haven’t gamed much lately, but I used to be decent. I’m looking for a fun group to roll with, don’t care if you’re good or not. Let me know if anyone wants to play.

CoD is cross play now. You can play with PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.

Yeah I know haha. I usually prefer to party up with people, though. Is there a way to do that cross platform that I’m not aware of?

Yeah. You need to have them added by their activision ID. That’s going to be the global-cross platform ‘gamer tag’ that allows you to add people from other consoles and pc.

Ah, my bad I guess I worded my response wrong. I knew it was cross platform. When I said “party up” I meant actually be in an Xbox party so we can all talk to each other exclusively haha.

You can’t add them to your Xbox live party chat, but there is party chat in game I believe, so you arent mixed in with random. If that helps

Just skimmed all of this and may be wrong, but if you play PC but would like to be in Xbox Party Chat with the people on Xbox that youre playing with..

Get the "Xbox Game Bar" app on your PC and log into your Xbox account through it, it will then allow you to join said Xbox Party even if youre playing on PC through battle.net

Obviously need an xbox account if order to do this.

I played modern warfare for a hot second on PC and did that, it’s pretty nice!
