i feel viper eye isn't enough vs good vt's, i need some abs too
on a general basis i also try to stat zon without relying on a rare ring... but imo this ring is good enough to change that finally
lr/fr is the main res i want ofc, with this ring i'm done at both... meaning i will not use a single 5@ small charm anymore, that counts for some damage too

wow nice ring!

playing on eu I sit around 240-250 light res depending on switch and 5% max without major switch and it's more than decent against vt (hl, forty, viper eye, gloves, siggard, foi/storm, anni/torch, anya).
I tried also 160/60 armor and 45/90 lr helmet but found it excessive and doesn't worth the lost of ed%.

Still I got your point, you love the item and include into your building. Totally legit for me

well it's not the amount of lr that's the problem, that's easily covered... it's that with 80lr some vt's still take a big chunk of life with their lame foh, they hit you once or twice with a smite and then they can just kill you with foh^^
with wisp on, you have an oak to protect you from a foh + that extra abs... so i'd say in your case maybe as well then, viper eye + wisp + cham'd stormshield might be a great idea

just saying that I never really felt this need, usually I smack the sh!t out of foh switch with lb
