I think people say it does because of the camera position and 3D graphics instead of sprites. For me it doesn't mean it looks same, for example colors are similar to D2.
What else do you guys think is similar? Post your ideas

D2 = Gothicstyle
D3 = dark wow graphic
D4 =. “

It looks something in between d2 and D3 leaning more to d3 since its hard to go backwards and make it more like D2 graphic wise.

Go to your nvidia / amd settings. Change colour schemes and run D3 windowed. Congratulations, you now have a D4 experience.

Looks are great, but have never been as important to me as gameplay. So far the gameplay has not looked very impressive. If that doesn't change then they are wasting their time.

It looks bad to be honest. This could be made up for via good gameplay and I can only hope it will be when it releases in 2028.

I personally like the tone and the mood, compared to D3, and even some D2 places.
