If anyone is interested in a more in-depth look at this era and these protests, there is a podcast, I'll admit with left leaving bias, called The Dollop that has 3 episodes on Abbie Hoffman. (451, 452, 453). Also Parcast has a two part series "Summer of '69: The Chicago 8" that's less politically biased.

Solid cast, written and directed by Sorkin. Some of his best work. This movie was fantastic, probably my favorite movie this year.

Should get several Oscar nominations, hopefully some wins.

Yeah, hate to break it to you but the movie doesn't actually do a good job of telling the story. It does a good job of twisting the story for a political reason.

Not knocked out of the park at all imo.
