I am not saying that raising someone else' child is a bad thing, but it certainly it isn't the hallmark of being a man, either. Human beings have evolved to be selfish for a reason.

i did not say that it was, but the 'hallmark of a man' is very unique and that meaning would change between each individual. for one career, another family, another passion, who knows
