But that's how I'd handle it. It would not be a dealbreaker, but it would require a lot more convincing before I'd give it a shot. It would also depend if she plans on producing more because I intend to have a few of my own :p
Honestly, as someone who was a single mom at one point in my life, I agree with this completely.
For anyone with a child, they should take a lot of consideration into bringing you into their child's life, just as you're taking a lot of consideration into the fact that she has a child that you could potentially become an influence on.
If you like her and it's not personally a deal breaker for you, get to know her without her child for an extended period, see how you guys get along on a personal level and bring interaction with the children in down the road.
