Pvp or pvm?

both, I am thinking of making something to duel with but if I decide not to I would just use for some pvm

Pvm
Eth tomb reaver 15/40x2 and zod
Rares might be able to beat it but they are expensive

Pvp
Grief/ss for bm
Botdz for gm

I would look at Ink’s guide for gm

You must have several weapons if you want to do pvp.

grief isn't bm as soon as you don't play some stupid melee league

Never use shield on Wolf Doodoo in PvM.
Your best bet is 2-handers.
Number one - eTomb Reaver, fastest attack possible - 4 fpa.
Second - eBotD GPA or Archon, Glorious axe or Ogre Maul. All give massive raw damage output.
Third - upped ribcracker with shael or 15ias/40ed

I would say the Ribcracker is the optimal weapon. You can get it very cheap and it have decent damage, CB and other useful stats. If you are on a budget use it.

Another cheap fury weapon which can reach 5 fpa - Windhammer or IK Stone Crusher.

Best pvp items are usually not availeble on the realms:
2 hander: eth selfrepl rare cruel giant tresher 2 soc (4xx ed/40ias/some base ar with 2 x 40ed/15ias jool's) and pb with same stats, however pb might as well be a fool's version as the base dmg is low. Preferable with 5ctc amp in both.
With theese wepons u can have a resiststance problem.

Range is super important. Giant tresher is +4 rangeadder, tombreaver is +3 rangeadder, ba is +2 rangeadder, pb is +1 rangeadder and knife/dagger is +0 rangeadder.

As a general rule:
2 hander: Eth tomb with zod and 2 x 40ed/15ias for 2 hander.
1 hander: bodt ba + stormshield. (however a eth fools ba with 40ias base and 280+ ed with 2 x 40ed/15ias and preferable 5ctc amp hits more and stronger at the cost of 30stats which will have a huge impact on life)

Secondary wepon:
Same as wep I for epic wsg style attacks. <- Not common.
Cta + spirit or sop
Death web + 20/-20 jmod for epic rabies dmg switchbug.

I precast bo and ench, and have dw + jmod at switch. At main i use bodt ba + stormshield or eth tomb.

A special wepon is fury of crescent moon ba which adds 33%ds, 91% OW, 60ias, 209ed which is effective for rabies based wolf's as it grants 100% OW in combi with +2 rangeadder wep and hits relevant ias breakpoint.

Ribby is super in pvm, but is not very effective in pvp. Eth tomb is usally the best for both.

For pvp:
Rabies > Fury
However hybrid is most common.

I use a 68 to 100fcr build, but in a few cases goes lower fcr.
Frw is either 175frw(with 30 not bugged) or 145frw.

For GM fury vs melee a knife gets more dmg than PB due to the fact statbonus is (0,75 * str + 0,75 * str) contra pb stat bonus (1*str).
However a pb need 70ias, and a fanged knife need 75ias(1 shael + 15ias jool)

Yeah, I think a theoretical rare giant thresher with the right rolls and 2 RJOFs is best in slot. I'm basing this off of mad scientist's chart which I found here. Lower number is better.

As you can see, with 15% DS/ 85% CB, the rare giant thresher kill time goes down to .99. That's the lowest number I found of any setup in that chart. The eth tomb reaver comes close though with a 1.08 set up.
