Unless your have experience playing PoE you will most probably earn jack shit.

If your that strapped for cash, practice now so you can easily make 5-10K next season.

Idk i world farm on wow and make 10k igg every 2-3 weeks on classic

Runescape is probably the best free way to make FG at a constant rate

As mentioned by everyone here - PoE is the way to go.

yup POE Is the way to earn fg. atleast 10k fg a season for decent experienced people, if you are a true pro its easy to make 20-50k fg.
If you are not experienced or dont know how to do end game fast, you will only profit a few thousand.

look up some Grimro videos for PoE

bot d2, just get really familiar with the botting system, run multiple bots
also for d2, buy low sell high if you can (items)
or do level jobs for diablo 2



WoW:
level jobs
use tradeskillmaster and buy low/sell high on AH, (This requires a bit of skill, so i'd advise doing level jobs over this, much easier and simpler)


You could also try leveling people in runescape for FG. (oldschool or RS3)

This is how most people on here have lots of fg lol.

Path of Exile can make you literally millions of fg but you'd have to put thousands of hours into the game to do that. The currency I have in Heist League is worth ~112k forum gold. I liquidated my Standard currency for 450k which went to buy myself a Brutosuar in July

Path of exile is a great way to make forum gold once you understand the economy.
