Gigabyte b450 of some description
Ryzen 5 2600 CPU
Radeon rx560 4gb GPU
16gb 2666mhz RAM
550W PSU

considering buying a 144hz monitor to help with csgo.. I'm aware I won't be able to handle max settings but would this still be worth it? or would I need to upgrade my GPU too?

Might help if you play lowest settings.
Look up benchmarks for your gpu and that game.
