Im sure toffoli sucks, anderson was only demanded by 15 teams he must sucks too, edmundson was playing as a regular on a stacked blues defense and hurricanes defense and Allen was good enough to play 30-40 games with the blues per year.

Im sure that we suck. Im sure that markstrom sucks after seeing how the nucks fans were sad to see him leave

Yeah why do u think benning let all these skrubs go?
He sold high by making other teams sign them over term to handicap em, 500iq play by Benning. Who needs 5th rounders for their rights when u can do that

Markstrom 6x6 is a bad contract.

He is 30 (will be 31 when season starts) has played a ton of hockey recently and has had serious injuries.

The likelihood of him playing on the level he did the last couple seasons in Vancouver is unlikely to continue past another 2-3 years.

From a long term stand point I have no problem with Vancouver letting him walk.

Perhaps the article itself is childish but from a business standpoint I don't think it was the best signing.

I wish Marky well, just don't think he can keep up that level of play for more than half of his contract length.

Lol
I think winning the cup chances are higher than kosk winning the vezina

The "Cost Cutter" Koskinen as my friend calls him - In mocking his ludicrous contract Chirelli decided to sign before getting canned.

Either that, or:

Pandemic requires Canadian division, Canucks have to face a motivated Markstrom much more often that they thought, and combined with the huge steps backwards Benning forced them to take this offseason, Nucks miss playoffs right before the BC fault line triggers the big one and the city sinks into the sea.

All Canadian division would be pretty cool in all honesty.

Even if it hurts the Canucks.

I disagree about huge steps backwards being taken though. I got no problem with Tanev and Marky walking for the term they got.

If we did not have boat anchor contracts they could have stayed, but in the words of Todd Bertuzzi "It is what it is". I would rather the team be in good cap position when it is time to pay Petey and Hughes. Just a shame we missed one of the windows

due to those bad contracts. There would have been a chance to push with Petey/Hughes playing on ELC'S but all things considered it was better to wait.

The 'big one' I try not to worry about. Nothing I can do about it.

Insurance won't even help. If the entire western seaboard is trashed everyone is broke or dead.

Honestly I have lived a good life. If I am gone tomorrow I won't even be bitter about it. Won the lottery being born in such a great country. Despite my bitching I am legitimately grateful for every day I get.

yeah all canada divison would hurt the canucks most i feel,
they'll be travelling the most, can't beat the jets, calgary/edm/habs all got stronger, ottawa seems promising for the future but seem like they'll be the feeders
