I agree and it does seem like the general consensus is so far top 6 holding the power is no go, none of the proposed changes affect other clubs trying to crash the top 6 party negatively.

EFL clubs are all in for it though so vote against the proposal and you've killed lower league football.

Of course any EFL team not close to promotion to the Premier league would be all for it. Makes no difference what happens at the top for the vast majority of them as long as they get money it's all they give a shit about.

Just simply needs to be a united front from the rest of the prem. The only major problem around it is the power grab and possibly the reduction to 18 teams. Capped away day tickets is something that fans have been asking for forever and I doubt you'll find many fans against sharing Premier league wealth with the lower leagues, or having a prem/champ playoff. Can't remember what else was in there, but nothing too controversial I'd imagine.

Interesting timing of the whole reveal anyway, it's taken all the spotlight away from PPV plans

PPV plans getting binned. Going back to non sky/bt games being shown across sky/bt/amazon/BBC.

And that's the power of the people.

Ridiculous idea in the first place, by all means, try and make a few bob on the side with PPV, but 15 smackers a game is criminal. Even if they'd have put it at a fiver, with a quid donation to local charities or some shite, loads of people would have paid it.

Greed has limits, and it's about time these fat mugs at the top realised it, there'll be the same blowback from any European league they try to side hussle too.

It was always doomed to failure mainly due to it's extra cost on top of subscription you're already paying.

Speaking of which, the entire model is so outdated now the netflix of football can't come soon enough, Amazon Prime showed last year it's feasible.

Thought amazon handled their fixtures really well tbf. Hopefully they slam some money down and get a bigger slice next bidding day.
