this is exactly my advice although i go pure nova or orb instead of blizz

orb/nova is a bit of a waste, as early on you only need one or the other to kill stuff, and later on u just avoid those mobs. and then grab a din/pally for trav.

My preference is
20 orb
20 cold mastery
20 tele
5-10 static, nice for saftey on toorc and clearing the tal rasha room when it has cold immunes
1-5 thunderstorm, can add a few points for duration

If mana isnt an issue for you, if you know what I mean ^ ^
Then I'd skip tele and go full max fire wall

If you rush full rooms of people I recommend blizz or orb with max icebolt and good skill adds
