Neat opinion.

I never pre-ordered a console before now but sure have got plenty of devices right at launch (cell phones, laptops, etc) so to each their own.

I dont think we will see any red ring scale fiasco, ms learned from that, this thing is built with cooling in mind if you watch the teardowns.

The ps5 on the other hand concerns me. There were rumors circulating about thermal issues and the design leaves me wondering about their cooling solution. Also the fact that they havnt shown the internals, other than a mock up using the ps3 mobo, has me curious as to why.

But in all seriousness i never buy day things day 1, im usually pretty well into last gen for a good year or so before i make the leap and by then, theres typically a more refined model, a slim version or a Pro model and reduced price, etc. thats around the time i get caught up with next gen consoles
Personally, i have enough games on 4 consoles i can probably just skip out on next gen

Good points, but Xbox Series X and PS5 will most likely improve Path of Exile performance. Current gen full with bugs.

Confirmed S at Gamestop. Friend of mine might sell me a X since him and his wife were able to preorder 2 at the same time unintentionally on bestbuy website and offered to sell me a X for the going rate if he does end with with 2.

Probably will keep the S and let my wife use it

Sorry target cancelled yours, did they attempt to charge you and the payment failed? Many people are being billed within the last 48hrs and if the payment fails they would cancel it of course.

I wasnt going to do a pre order and i voiced my reasoning behind it
But then sony literally invited me to pre order and well, i did

Now my thing is, they didnt even charge me at the time of my pre order. Theyre waiting to do so..but when are they going to charge me? Launch day is the 12th. I get paid again on the 6th. I can make a payment on my credit card on the 6th and i should have the appropriate funds on that specific card that i used as my payment method. If they charge me before that date, im fucked as i dont have the necessary funds currently. Its a nail biter!
