Using your phone for hotspot or a WiFi that isn't a public place usually will work yes. There's always a work around.. but unless ur just gonna go to a different place I personally wouldn't waste my time.

I have installed reinstalled fixed bugs etc for D2 for 15+ years and it's a waste of time lol. Play a different game. After 10 hours of trying to get it to work your gonna kick yourself

Hotspot with your phone is about the only option.
