Currently looking at upgrading my cpu to match the 3080 whenever they are in stock. What would you suggest? I am running a Ryzen 2600. I was looking at maybe the Ryzen 7 2600x. I just don't want to have a bottleneck with the gpu. Crazy to me how much better this GPU is compared to my 1080.

AMD 3600 or 3700x

The XT versions are a marketing scam IMO

I think I was a little confused but after looking it up there is no Ryzen 7 2600 lol.. so my bad.

I have a Ryzen 5 3600 and intend on getting a 3080. There is definitely a lot more to consider on top of the CPU. Are you playing in 4k?
