This was indeed super lucky, but I dont get why the system "should change". It is the only fair way this game can be resetted, since the whole mq system is based on luck, starting from feeder.
Every person loses every char progress after the reset so I also dont get why new slashers should be the most penalized here: it should be rather the opposite tbh.
A solo climb doesnt require that much time and reaching 50 should require few hours at most even with bad gear (I am referring to the post above me but It is valid for every complaint I read on this topic). In most games you also lose the gear, the prof etc, here you only lose the 50 levels? (and the class, but if a person climbs for fun /just solo / want good drops shouldnt care "too much" about passes.. tbh if I were new Id prefer play only feeder-pala because they are more tanky and easier to gear).
There were also seasons with more activity but the reset took 1 year.. literally.
