How can it be sold out when some companies didn’t even start taking pre orders yet

Most likely even if u do got it preordered ur not going to get it on day one

I got 2 from GameStop website .I ordered one and after I hit pay the site crashed .didnt get a email or anything .kept trying and got another one then got a email for both about 2 hours after I bought the second one . The GameStop by my house had 22 preorders at 6pm est they said they should be getting more I will be goin tomorrow in the am
