fused item can still drop?

anyone heard about these?

talking about fused uniques, not hacked occy rings.

Some of those are real. Most are lost to time. Also they are stuck on whatever server they happen on ie. wizzy gloves are in Europe only I believe

Gotta be pretty skeptical because people can just make whatever on open b.net

However some glitches hacks and dupes have definitely happened

The probabilty is so astronomically high that blizzard will stop supporting d2 before one drops.

Fused items were real but patched long ago.

Are they 100% patched? or they just lower the chance to find these by changing the amount of unique drops from 2 to 6?

Patched 100%. The game code was changed so that it erases items that don't fall within the game's original perimeters. The exception was the hybird runeword items. They skirted around this by still appearing as runewords. Having, say, a ring fall with stormshield stats was once possible (even legitly) but now is not.
