Not the answers I was looking for, but some of you were helpful, some not so much. Thanks anyway!

The problem is, if you build it yourself you get so much more value. Not only higher performance but also higher quality parts.

At that budget you should be pushing a RX5600 or 2060. Hell some people on this forum might be able to hunt down deals with a 2070 in it, scrap a normal HDD and just run a 500GB SSD. 16GB G skill RAM, a coolermaster 212 heatsink is still king of the budget builds. Probably a Ryzen 5 3600 or something, a motherboard to match and some halfway decent 650watt power supply. Any mid tower case with decent airflow and maybe a few 8 dollar fans.

That prebuilt is running significantly worse, IMO.

So its hard to suggest that people toss money away when everyone here probably easily builds PC's. Again watch a youtube video, you will be telling yourself it looks easy.

I'd still go to reddit or something I don't keep up on tech or sales these days but I know with that budget and the 3000 series nivida cards coming out I'd never settle for below a 2060 or equivilant amd card.

Double check though.

One thing I didn't notice was monitor and other peripherals. Obviously that strains the budget. But I mean you can get a decent monitor for 100 bucks now for 1080p gaming.
