Probably gambling. People in BnP go from 0 to 100k in one day. Sports betting much easier and safer tho

Even with thousands of bots though.. the numbers don't add up. Lets say he got the most valuable items possible, then he would need like hunderds of people selling for him, lol.

Not doing the right math. Botters sell for cash and then spend some of that cash here to buy items to sell for more cash. Botters also sell for cash in multiple games. Some pay well.
