Nay. You don't understand. It's literally plug and play. You read the directions that come with your case. You read the directions that come with your motherboard. You're overthinking it right now.

Open case
Set motherboard
set power supply
apply dot of thermal paste
set cpu
click in ram
click in gpu
click in hdd/sdd
connect power supply to components via the connecters (you're not working with bare wire here)
close that bitch up

press the power button

I get it. I was like you on my first build. Nervous as hell that I'm going to screw up a couple thousand dollars of electronics. It's really hard to screw up man.

Dude it’s extremely easy. Nothing to be afraid of. There’s literally tutorials(hundreds) on you tube many of which you can build with them at the same time. You build almost the whole thing outside of the case. It’s hard to screw up. Just watch several videos

Okay , you guys convinced me to trust myself to do it , gonna wait for the 3000 series to be avail , are the 2000 series that much worse ? I’m thinking I should be able to get a used 2080 super for fairly cheap with everyone upgrading to 3000 series . How important is the brand ? Which brands do you recommend ?
