Very happy with this price point, might even try to snag 2 of them. Plus this cat and mouse price game with MS and Sony can finally stop, and silence all the idiots who thought this would be $799.

Are there even any good games on console?

Care to back that claim up when we havnt seen a teardown, a full spec sheet, a price, hell we havnt even seen the back of the console to know what it has for ports/expansion options. As far as what we do know, team green has got it beat aside from the ssd. Cpu is stronger on series x, gpu is stronger on series x, backwards compatable games and hardware gives more options, etc etc we can do this all day.

EA access just got rolled into gamepass as well today, which is another huge win.

I get you are a Sony pony, but let's have a constructive discussion here.

I planned to get both to enjoy exclusives on both sides, but at this point I may not even bother with a ps5 until a deep discount on the digital version, and they don't catch on fire at launch.

All im going to say is that its been proven power doesnt mean a thing
For every one xbox 1 X sold, theres 2 ps4s ahead of it

I was hoping for $400 for series x

Power was a huge debate when Sony had the power lead with the ps3 vs 360 and again with the base ps4 vs og one. It was all over the forums (here, reddit, sony/ms, etc) Once it shifted it was no longer relevant. Funny how things change.

And there's no denying console sales, Sony clearly has the lead there. This gen might be a bit different when the series s is being compared spec wise to the ps5 at somewhere around half the cost.
