Imo cash your first omega. Then pay with plex/isk from then on.

Omega allows you to trade via contracts/fly ships that aren't trash/train skills past the basic lvl

Isk is pretty easy once your established (decent skills and ship)

I mostly merch plex now for cash but when I was doing anomalies I could easily get 6-8m isk per hr
