a track day once or twice shouldnt do that much, unless he cooked the fuck out of the breaks and they were highly aggressive material

either way, you can get cheepie parts store rotors for 130 bucks a piece and pads for like 60 bucks, thats less than 350 bucks front, rear is similar

and performance stuff, depending on what you do, just rotors and pads, or calipers also you can spend anywhere from a grand - 10 grand if you want.

also, why are they replacing the calipers....

they quoted them in the itemization because according to subaru "they often seize so I should know the costs associated just in case"

sounds to me like they will intentionally make them seize

"the itemization only details the pads, rotors, and calipers for both front and rear"

I didn't misinterpret anything

my bad, i missed that.

then yeah. they're off their rocker. either subaru fucked up on the flat rate hours for the job, or that shop is trying to fuck you over hard.

Why the heck would a two year old car need an entire new brake job? Didn't it come with a warranty?
