Wide grip pull ups at 176.8lbs

I cant find anything to measure my strength.
Currently training for one hand pull ups with dead hangs?
Any advice would be great.
Eventually want to start doing muscle ups as well.

how tall are you? i assume somewhat tall because pull ups, let alone wide grip call for you being pretty lean/low fat

are you going ALL the way down? when i first started doing pull ups i was doing what i call 'ego ups' (not going all the way down/going fast to get as many reps as i can for my ego)

you understand pull ups are always done palms facing away? lot of people get the confused as palms facing you is easier



yes 10-12 rep FULL range pulls (non-wide grip) is excellent! you are doing wide grip so extra credit for you - perfect number to get the most benefit out of them - look to get a weight belt soon and add some weight

i know roided up/super cut (pretty much ALL muscle, and a lot of it) dudes that can only do ~17 regular pull ups

wide grip pullups has always been my nemesis, if you can do them, its very good to do a set like yours, i know many people that bench xxx dead xxx and squat xxx redicilous amounts but cant even preform a clean pullup. way to go bro

I remember back in between 2006-2010 when i did alot of pull up every day , the strength for making a pull up with 1 hand came from itself !

Do pull ups every day as much as u can with no more than 45sec. - 1min. rest between sets and do every set with maxium reps with all types of grips



10 sets - max reps with Standart pull up , 45sec. - 1min. rest between each set , every day
6 sets - max reps with Neutral grip , 45sec. - 1min. rest between each set , every day
6 sets max reps with Chin ups , 45sec. - 1min. rest between each set , every day
3-4 sets of just hanging for atleast 45sec. - 1min. per set , every day
