this is kind of an odd spot for this thread, but i figured i'd try here before a GC.

i bought a stereo, works fine hooked up to pc.

i bought hdmi cables to hook up my switch. i now get a buzz using my pc coming through my monitor. increasing in noise during more graphical stuff.
it only happens when the "line-out" is hooked up to my monitor. i can break the connection at either end of the cable to end the noise.

i've tried different cables that i've already had, same thing happens.

i've also tried using dvi and hdmi options coming from my gpu. is there anything else i can try or should i be returning this stereo?
