I wonder what's it like to live in a battleground state and get calls and solicitations because your vote actually matters.

Only things I see in NYS is the occasional commercial by a candidate once in a blue moon or football player commercial trying to get me to vote.

Living in Arizona it sucks. Non stop calls and texts. The wife and Ieft town for the week and the neighbor had a stack of political mail for us.

Given the amount of ads I see for the CA propositions (which probably isn't' that much but I'm sick of them), I'd imagine it's fucking miserable. You probably get used to it though..

This could also be because more Republicans than expected are voting by mail, so that the early margins for Democrats end up below projections. Or there are more Democrats who got second thoughts about mail voting and decided to go for in person early voting instead. Which btw is what I epxect a ton of Republicans to do, so that election day turnout itself will also fall short of projections. Particularly in states with a current surge in covid cases.
