Same for me, I tried multiple times to get into Bigmouth after numerous rave reviews from acquaintances and people online. Getting through even a single episode felt like a fucking battle lol.

hoops is on a catagory of its own, i jsut thought bigmouth was great idea with hormone monsters lol hoops i def try a episode or two. its stays on one story line and actually pretty well told, not just stupid insane stuff

I'll give it a shot, but I'm not optimistic lol.

Big Mouth is like the Scott's Tots episode of The Office. But take that uncomfortable feeling and turn out a whole show from it.

I really enjoyed big mouth. Like alot. Hoops was okay and defo isn't had some funny parts, but if it got canceled, shrug.

Whomever casted the voice actors gets an A+.

went in with low expectations because of the Big Mouth comparisons, but Hoops was actually worth the watch

Some of the jokes had me in bursts of laughter. The style of the joke writing was also quite clever. Like when he tricked the principal into saying that it was ok for the kids to fuck animals. And when he forcibly retired his own number.

Downsides: none of the characters were likeable and the underlying story was bland. When they first started mentioning Matty's dad, I thought it would be a great little mystery that they would unravel slowly and the leave hanging as a cliffhanger. I was really disappointed that they seemed to just drop the idea.
