Where or what to do to get a good EE wep.. without spending forum gold?

Also, what's max EE on a wep/Max Mana on charms etc.? Is there an updated Item mechanics link?

psuedo max is 20 ee per tier. there are lists somewhere.

To answer your first question. You have to find it by exploring catacombs or maps. When exploring maps, make sure you don't explore above the Map Monster level. Maybe someone else can get you an image showing the levels since the one I had no longer exists;

You can find decent welfare gear at a good price on MP every now and then.

Will be hard to self-mf decent EE gear though

If you buy cheap 80ish ee gear, you'll be able to make your fg back quickly selling skillables.

I'd reccomend you do that

Clubs and staffs are cheapest.
