The "asap" option means when they are allowed to open, some places they already have.

I’m not afraid to go to the theaters, just don’t have the want. Theaters are open here but only certain days on the week with limited seating. And it’s all old/recent movies being shown since Hollywood isn’t releasing big movies

My work requires me to interact with a lot of people on a daily basis for 8+hours, so going to see a 2-3 hour long movie sitting a few seats away from someone, doesn't put me at anymore risk than I'm already at

I’m a movie guy, I love movies, & I go all the time. Most people seemingly only go to the theatre for a movie they think looks great. I’ll catch a Saturday morning matinee for movies I know will only be decent, but I still want to watch

However for the foreseeable future I’m only going to the theatre if it’s a movie I really, really want to see. Like Tenet, I’m going to a theatre today at 5:00 for the first time since pre-COVID.
