Would it be illegal to take down those cameras which are standing on your own property?

Take down? I'd keep 'em, reset them to defaults, and use them for my own security camera use.

you mean accidentally hit it with the lawnmower?

I was thinking about baseball batting practice, during which I am unfortunately blinded by the sun and "mistake" the camera for the ball. But yes, lawnmowers work too.

That's actually a very good question. I think the safest response(s) would be to either set up cameras to catch whoever set it up in the first place, or deliberately obstruct the view. One could also build an elosure around the still-emplaced camera (think of a wheel locking boot) that would force anyone attempting to retrieve it to either come to you or damage your property (which would be recorded for litigation purposes).

Sure, that's the safest response. But the question I raised is interesting in general: does federal property which was placed on private property/space without the owner's consent enjoy the same special protections under the law as federal property in public spaces?

I would imagine the same thing would apply if the roles were reversed. Imagine if you parked your car on federal property without permission. They don't get to just keep your car, but they can tow it and charge you towing and impound fees to get it back.

Private property is only possible because of governement tho, still not forget that and ask yourself how you managed to get a shitty gov putting cams and not answering why precisely.

Committing acts of violence against federal property is a felony, you Antifa terrorist.

Do you guys see why your whole “throw Antifa terrorists in Gitmo for graffiti on federal property!” line of reasoning is a slippery slope to your own ass being fucked dry by the feds? Far left and far right ought to be allied on this kind of shit.
