This looks pretty fucking awesome. Ridley has had some flops over the years, but also has some classics. So this could be hit or miss, but the writer is good. Im pretty excited to watch this, though the trailer is REALLY REALLY GOOD (in my opinion) .... so theres a lot of room for let down

Okay, caught the first three episodes. I am impressed. The world building and ambience is amazing.
Neither side is the good guy and the Mithraic seem to be the creators of the necromancers, so either the atheists reprogrammed one or it broke from it's own coding.
You got child soldiers and drugs on one side and religious zealotry on the other.

The way mother gibbed all the Mithraic soldiers was just /chef kiss. Father with the dad jokes, I cringed at first but then I began to enjoy hearing them.

The reveal about the one girl.... I expected it, and didn't expect it. Someone needs to beat the shit out of Mr. 200+ IQ.

I'm wondering if the wendigo creatures were once human or just something that evolved on the planet. And interesting the twist towards the end that explained what happened to the children. And the stick doll opening up other possibilities.

Dislike the staggered release, would prefer to binge it all at once, I'll have to remember to catch the new episodes.

is there a difference between HBO Max and a regular HBO subscription that I need to get in order to access this?

I bought access to HBO through my Prime Video account. I see all the regular HBO content (GoT, etc) but I don't see Raised by Wolves

HBO max is a separate streaming service. However you should have access to it for free if you pay for HBO. You still have to activate it.

Turns out amazon is still holding out, you don't get it through them yet. It's the same price as their HBO subscription, so they're banking on people switching or paying for both.
