Keep calling them and bugging them for an earlier date. It could improve? Did you get the + or the regular one?

Nice! I traded my other one in on the last day of my free 30 day trial for the Bike+. Great amazing technology.

way to expensive imo..

is it 2 grand for a stationary bike? Seems pricy, better more versatile setup would be a roadbike + smart trainer imo

I spent a lot on my road bikes, 5 figures for my pricier ones and just adapt it to a wahoo kickr. You get more out of the road bike's geometry and fit than a peloton. The way I look at it, the peloton is for housewives sipping rose thinking they'll get a work out in, and smart trainers are for actual training and conditioning.

Edit: if your reason for getting the peloton in the first place was just for general fitness and you dont care about FTP/WATTS or your speed/endurance training, disregard my comments. But you can also use the peloton app on a smart trainer. Smart trainers also dial into your specific fitness and profile and set the power meters automatically at where you'll start to struggle so you can gain fitness over short periods of time.

Not to mention, you dont need a fancy road bike to set up smart trainers since things like weight, wheelset, etc doesnt matter. You can basically get a 200$ used bike with similar geometry as your current daily road bike and adjust the fit to be exactly like your road bike, then add seats and clipless pedals and you're good to go. I just personally have a few different bikes based on situations, so I mostly put my Tri-bike on the trainer since I'll be doing distances over 100 miles on that.

I respectfully disagree because I've had this bike now for over 2 months and its worth every penny. Also the app and all the workouts on them are worth it in the long run.

What good is the app? Is this thing just motivation for fatties or what?
