Anybody playing this?

thinking about picking it up for switch but wondering if there's a decent base of people playing it?

I like to co-op with people and don't really want to buy the game if its dead

It's pretty much dead.

Don't buy the remake.

Me and my friend did that mistake, the remake is a hot garbage doodoo juice of a mess.

Stick with the OG, or jump in ds2/3

There are still people playing ds remastered, and its probably the most populated DS game currently on ps4.

so unless there's a specific switch only issue with the port it sounds like a you suck and need to get good issue.

@OP theres most likely going to be tons playing it still, it's better than 2 all around and better pvp than 3.

i have over 600hrs on all dark souls.

Finished them all except 3.

none of which are relevant.

Can you easily get both illusion rings in one run on ds2?

Also getting the rings doesn't mean you have " skills "

Just means you were dumb enough to do a no death run and did it over & over.

dark souls isn't a hard game at all, bosses sticks to a certain pattern once you know it, you're good.

well no it's not really that hard if you aren't terrible, and shouldn't take more than 1 run unless you die to fall damage at AD peaks or something, its just one of the few challenges DS series actually has.
Idk how this mostly came about as you still haven't addressed the point on why you think the OG DS is better than the remaster? I also said you just weren't good at them, not that they are hard or near hardest games out there, Thanks for proving my point though

I don't remember having to write or explain my point of view to entitled brats.

Perhaps, rather then acting like dark souls is some kind of exclusive only top gamers can be able to play / finish without any difficulties.

You should've asked me why i think the remastered is less good then the original.

Every dark souls are amazing
That include the remastered version

So yes for sure get it and yes its still active played a few months ago
