I know nothing about PS or making sigs but I had this one done like 5 years ago, no clue who by. Is it possible to add something on top of it?

sure it is, depending on where you want to add it
but a new sig altogether wouldcertainly end up looking better

your sig is png maybe if you convert it to gif but you cannot currently change that one as png unless someone chimes in.
