I thought fennel could be fun to cook with, so i bought it. i've never actually cooked with it. i know i can use the leafies like fresh dill and the root/bulb i can chop up and grill or raw.

Here's what i currently have in my fridge/pantry

raw Argentinian shrimp
bay scallops
pork tenderloin
flat iron steak
white rice
green leaf lettuce
kiwi
fresh corn
cilantro
onion
garlic clove
red pepper
Serrano peppers
jalapeno peppers

thanks culinary friends

Pickled fennel is the bomb.

Usual suspects, vinegar, sugar, salt, peppercorn, star anise.

Being to boil and pour over thinly sliced fennel, I like to use a mandolin to slice em.
