I already have ddr4 ram and a gtx 1060, so no worries there.

Budget: $750 for a PSU, CPU, CPU cooler, motherboard, storage, and case.

Purpose: valorant at 144 , triple A's at 60fps, etc.

Was thinking of an Intel Core i5-8600K as the CPU, but lost on the rest.

I'm scared of going amd since i never did before haha.

The intel one, on the notes it says the following:
Note:NZXT H510 ATX Mid Tower Case has a front panel USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C port, but the Gigabyte Z490 UD ATX LGA1200 Motherboard does not have sufficient USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Gen 1 headers. The case USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C port will not be usable.
Note:The Gigabyte Z490 UD ATX LGA1200 Motherboard has an additional 4-pin ATX power connector but the Cooler Master MWE Gold 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply does not. This connector is used to supply additional 12V current to the motherboard. While the system will likely still run without it, higher current demands such as extreme overclocking or large video card current draws may require it.
Note:The motherboard M.2 slot #1 is listed as reserved for future use and is non-functional.
Note:The motherboard M.2 slot #2 shares bandwidth with a SATA 6.0 Gb/s port. When the M.2 slot is populated, one SATA 6.0 Gb/s port is disabled.
Note:Some physical dimension restrictions cannot (yet) be automatically checked, such as cpu cooler / RAM clearance with modules using tall heat spreaders.

Is this something to be worried of?

Thanks again King Atrhur

AMD is fine atm, though intel technically yields more fps for gaming it lacks 4 cores for multi tasking.
https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i5-10600K-vs-AMD-Ryzen-7-3700X/4072vs4043

note 1 - basically case supports type c connector, mobo does not. Only useful if you have and need to charge things via type c.
note 2 - this can be ignored, boards have the extra 4pin for extreme oc's which you won't be doing anyways.
note 3 - you only need the one slot second one will be functional later with an update to bios.
note 4 - most m.2 slots share bandwith with sata ports, basically while using the m.2 port 2 sata ports are disabled, you have 6 sata ports and no sata devices at this time.
note 5 - I know cooler fits in the case, as for ram clearance you can shift the fan up a bit on cooler thus allowing it to clear ram. (done this on wifes pc using same case and cooler)

Can go this route if you want type c connector on case to work.

What do you mean by shifting? No cutting right? I've built a couple of pcs with a friend, but never solo haha!

e/ also thoughts on water cooling? like a budget h100i?

e/ do you think the bottle neck here will be the gtx1060?

no cutting no,the fans attach to cooler with clips can slide fan up or down.

No need imo unless you wanna oc then air coolers better bang vs buck. there more for aesthetics.

There will be no bottle neck, but yes the weakest link is the gpu.
