The only time Last Wish is better than grief is when you have a Hammerdin that wants to do uber with limited gear to switch out due a lack of inventory/ storage space. Other then that, I cannot imagine another situation where Last wish is useful.

Can't remember ever dying to anything, ever, on my LW smiter. At least in PvM and ubers. If PVM is all you're going to be doing Last Wish is just fine. Only thing that makes it shit is the amount of runes that go into it. Might as well use Grief. But Last Wish isn't a shit weapon, not by a long shot.

i've never died in hc with a grief smiter.

last wish is a more defensive weapon, better suited for hardcore since u can double proc lifetap with dracs and can proc fade.

absolutely waste of jah runes this early in season for last wish. once jah's drop to 20-30fg, then by all means is a cool weapon to use.

Do it in a phase blade because it's the fastest base (-30).

last wish would be a downgrade to your setup, grief is better. Coh's ed doesnt work with smite, fortitude is better. Exile sucks, upd hoz gives more damage. tgods is useless too and slow down your kill speed with the ctc foh

Your gear is fine.

LW will make your runs slower. Grief's damage is added directly to your shield, that is like having +40 holy shield in damage. no other weapon can top that.

Why do you need to open up gear slots? It's a smiter, goblins are fine, dracs are fine. What would you wear instead? Gores and 20 ias crafted gloves. Which means exactly as much CB as in goblin + dracs. IAS is useless since you're running fanaticism.

If you want some bling, get a Fortitude armor for 300% ED and skillers, that's what needs upgrading. LW will make your char worse, no doubt about it.
