i am looking for your opinion on this weapon.

I posted it on price check forum (https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=83539064&f=170&o=0#p560350623) and received recommendation to upgrade and "zod" it and estimated the price around 3k+ then.

Would you recommend that as well?

I would upgrade it.

Put it this way, in MLD (mid level dueling) you can use an eth oath highland blade on a barbarian. An eth oath sword has approx 150-420 one hand damage, with 50 ias and a 30% chance to cast lvl 20 bone spirit on striking

All we are saying is that it isnt useful in its current state. I can't really give you any more advice than that since i dont High Level Duel.
But HLD has breath of the dying weaps, you will likely need to find a buyer who is in a melee club (where they only use rare weaps)
