anyone have any experience in the past regarding fraud on their paypal?

i have a charge with uber eats that somehow got authorized (uber eats was made an automatic payment company as well). when i disputed it through paypal i reiceved this:

im going through uber eats as well, hopefully they can help me out a little more than this. i cant find anything else to follow up through paypal aside from an online chat which they have no one online...no idea how else to contact paypal to try and get a refund for this

ive changed all my account info through paypal so nothing else should happen, but damn this sucks.

unfortuneately nothing went through to my bank, i had some funds in my paypal account (around 150) that it was automatically taken from there. i withdrew the rest to my bank to avoid this shit

only reason i never withdrew the 150 was to keep it in paypal if there was ever a time i needed to pay something through it urgently. fuk that now lol. havent used it in years


just unlinked everything in my paypal account last night and threw in some extra 2step FA to log into my account.

Yeah, what use is their policy then? lol

Did you try calling PayPal and explaining the situation instead of opening a ticket?

ive been trying to find a number or an email for paypal on their site and i have had zero luck. only found an online chat and have yet to recieve a response from that

double negative got me at first lol. i just hope they can at least give me the invoice so i can see where the delivery was and which account it came from. would try and see what i can do to make that personal miserable

its also messed how i get a email notification that payment went through on an approved account, but never got a notification that the account was approved lol

RIP buddy.

Just happened to my uncle a few months ago, took him for $93... and the day before that they double charged them for a meal.


My advice:

Id be polite and contact UE help through your app as well as online.

They will take so long to reply and probably try to divert by making you restate everything thats in your OP.. and i mean it could take 24h to 3 days before they reply.

If they dont respond within 48hrs i go straight to twitter and fb.
Tag them and rip their well known disgusting customer service in half.

They will respond. Demand fix...
