We'll see what happens. If he's taling a batman beyond old man Bruce the mentor role this could work out well, but he's far too old to pull off Batman now.

I suppose they could push for something like what they did in Logan, but isn't this the Patterson batman movies that they're in talks with him for? Clearly he wouldn't be the leading bat.

From what I've read it is for The Flash movie.

It has to be some form of Flashpoint for it to make any sense.

I'd really like to see them do flashpoint justice on the big screen like the animated version.

Oh, weird that they'd use a different batman... I guess I missed that, haven't followed any superhero news in forever and just assumed it'd have to be a batman movie. My bad.

That was my first thought as well. Beyond is a great series. It's a shame that the only version of that theme we got was one that was designed for kids. If we "grew it up a little", that concept could be used for something much more thoughtful. Imagine a batman equivalent of Spiderverse.
