In a P8 singlepass run the goal is to kill baal hell and you can't farm LK for runes. A Lo in the stash will do you no good.

Good call on Fortitude, especially if you don't plan on farming LK.

Is plugy frowned upon here? Not directed at you, just curious since someone remarked on the ilvl. I cbf using gomule again for these kind of runs, especially not while streaming - that'd be bad content. I literally only use it for stash. I don't think many (if any) of the melee builds I like playing would be able to full clear to hell baal without muling/extended stash. There's too many gems and runes you have to save for crafting, cube recipes (savage, chippy, standard, perfect rerolling)



It made the most sense to me. Frenzy was at 275% ED, Mastery 133%, I had about 170 strength.. picking up 300% ED goes a long ways. Considering that adding an oath to fortitude basically gets my DPS to where grief would have been on its own with my "Smoke" means its useless to hold.

Nice drop and nice fort. There’s a kind of inside joke going on in this thread with the other users where darrajuju bashes plugy all the time. Plugy is pretty handy I see the quality of life benefits even if I don’t use it myself.

And yes, single passes are a lot of fun. It really allows for some theory crafting to overcome various obstacles and use of builds/items/skill that are generally overlooked for better, farm-able things.

I just wanted to update everyone. I ended up completing the run. This was a PB for me; It was amazing to do it on a class I'm not at all comfortable on. I had so much fun.



Here are my final gear/stats


Lightsabre dropped off Hell Diablo - prior to that I was using a 220% PB (185% ferocious +35% ED charm +Ist rune )

I never did find my mal rune... in fact I couldn't even get a pul. I had no runes drop between Ko and Ist outside of the single a2nm Lem rune. The Lo rune I got from a2h ended up being my only one and I got a Gul (unusable but nice) from my last hellforge. In addition to that, I never manged to get a 5os PB. I rolled or dropped:
1os 2x
2os 2x
3os 3x
4os 1x
6os 1x

In the end, I'm very happy I went with the fortitude immediately.
