No idea what caused this. at first i thought it was just firefox. but also chrome has the same issue.
when fire opening the browser it may freeze or be slow. then opening new tabs either opens very slow or makes the ever tab on the browser freeze up for like 30 seconds, sometimes longer. just started today.
anything to check? just ran superantispyware. about to run tdsskiller.
i have the paid version on malewarbytes, tried running it, but it got stuck trying to update for past 2 hours. will try to reinstall it.

not too sure what else to check?

edit: dont think its my internet, as other devices are fine and speedtest shows 9 ms ping, and 114 mbps download and 11.52 upload

I dunno whether you're wired or wireless, but maybe driver corruption? Could also be your ISP, since it affects both browsers. Could also be something to do with the memory, as every new tab opens a new process.

Lastly, Win 10 just had a cumulative update and an Adobe Flash update on Tuesday.

Almost forgot... if you're on Win 10 and got the 2004 feature update already...well all hell could break loose after that.

Probably has something to do with an adblocker you have installed on those browsers causing them to crash. Check which extensions you have on both browsers and go from there to eliminate - but adblocker probably the culprit.
