Looking for suggestions for a nice chair that's comfortable to sit in for long periods at a time

Not trying to spend crazy money on a $300-400 one since I only light game

Go to a store and check some out. Your Hieght and weight plays a huge role.
But you won't find a GOOD chair for under 2-300 and thats taking in the used market as well.

Cheap 50-100$ chairs will last the average person a year usually with moderate to heavy use.

Dang.. I did a quick look on office depot and it was quite pricey haha

I guess if I were to spend 200-300$ on a chair what would be some nice options?

/e I looked some up and saw the homall gaming chair i think its called but seen some mixed reviews on it

Personally I'm not a fan of the gaming chairs nor bucket seats.
I'd go for a used hermin miller or steelcase myself.
I went with a 300$ one by a different brand but its a ergo chair.
Have a love hate relationship with it cause I have such poor posture in the chair.
Its uncomfortable at times but its doing what I need it to be doing which is making me sit properly.
One day I'll put a lazy boy on wheels just you wait.

But I guess DX Racer / Titan would be what your after.

Get a used Herman Miller or Steelcase from Craigslist, usually tons available from closed offices. With COVID, there may be more offices that closed down.

If you think about it, spending 1k on brand new Herman Miller isn't that expensive as you can use it for 10+ years without problems and be comfortable. I personally think it's a waste spending 100 to 300 chairs multiple times within that 10 year period, but each to their own

imo titan is overrated. It just looks nice but racing gaming chairs are too stiff and don't provide enough cushion for long periods of gaming/work.

It really depends on what you are looking for in your chair ergonomics vs aesthetics. If you want to properly invest in a chair I'd get one with sturdy back support so it doesn't hurt your posture. (can be rather pricy however but worth the investment as you won't ever need another chair after).
