since Corona virus the 3ds console's have been eerily sold out everywhere. does this mean the end of the 3ds consoles being produced or is it just a roadblock do you figure?

I think so
Nintendo stop making games for the 3ds because of the success of the switch
So they probably stopped making the 3ds

3ds has been discontinued.

The last system they released was the link between world 2ds xl.

And i believe the eshop is shutting down this year.

does that even make sense to ever shut down the eshop??

I guess all 2ds have just been backed up from a while in stores then? I didnt know it worked like that. I was hoping they'd be producing at least the original 2ds and 2ds xl for a while longer.

that's how any big consoles work, my man.

after a while it's not rentable, to keep servers open and they want you to move onto new console.

After switch lite came out. It a deadzone for 3ds. 3ds is one of the best handheld console great fun.

its just for the limited eshop in some country's
it won't be much to keep the eshop open but i doubt there will be new arrivals
id say as long as a handful of people still buy games sometimes we will have the eshop for a couple more years and the ability to download games for a little longer then that

3ds and 2ds have been discontinued. If you missed out on them, you can get some refurbished from the nintendo store.
