Agree.

The Crucial P1 is an overrated bad SSD in my opinion . Might be fine for a regular user though , however overall i'd avoid it .

The R5 is absolutely fine with its 6C/12T for Streaming/Editing/Vr - My personal observations prove it , however my own opinion once again !

More phases = more stable voltage, it helps with both overclocking and downclocking.
Why not have more rather then less for the same price.

Your video pins the budget ssd against the markets best.... da fuq you think was going to happen.

Sure the r5 works but why not take a r7 which works better for the same amount.

Its not about the comparison between the SSD, but the review on the Crucial P1 itself .
R7 is significantly more expensive . I am sorry for my mistake - I posted 3600x instead of 3600 as i wrote above . The price difference is about 100+ $
The price of the MB is actually not the same at all and if he is not a heavy OCer - he wont notice any difference in light OCing if Ocing at all.. The difference is about 70-80$

If we go the way : "Oh , this is just 30$ more , the other one is just 70$ more - then why dont we build a high end PC for everyone ?"

I am sorry , but as a person who has limited funds i am always trying to optimize the value:$$ ratio .... You got more here

R7 is 30$ more , which is personal preference - i would personally save that - You got a point anyway .

if the r7 is only $30 more may as well go for it for me it would be $107 more...

This actually brings my build to 1500ish $ with the MB included .

about 1550-1570$ with KB/Speaker .

I have read all of this, and i set the 1500 limit because i figured spending more than that was just kind of a waste as most of what ill be doing is not overly demanding. In most cases i lower games graphics to minimum as i play on hyper competitive levels. i use video editing programs for work, VR stuff for parties and relaxing. So my question is, from King Arthur's first build posted would i reallly need to worry about changing? as it seems to cover everything i care about.

i have manged to do most things i care about on my pos asus gaming laptop, and have been a laptop only for 8 years. i just think its time to finally upgrade to something real..

yes except its missing wifi card need to go to second link of mine for wifi card.
If you play competitive though maybe invest into the 144hz monitors for some of your games like over watch and if you play fps games.

i can always upgrade the monitors later if i find im really struggling, it will take a while to get used to a 21+ inch after playing on 16/17 in laptops ha ha.

Intel 200%, then. Even at high fidelity where the difference between amd and intel are rather small, I would still recommend it because every last fps matters if you're actually competitive, but when you remove gpu bottleneck by lowering settings, the difference becomes significant by any margin.
