So I was playing last night on USEAST with no problems.

I try to log in today and every time I hit "battle.net" the game crashes and gives me some error but no error code.

Anyone else having this issue? Literally no changes since last night and now I can't connect.

I can play SP just fine without issue.

Reset ur rooter maby. Start the game as administrator could help. Cant tell everything work fine here

restart comp reset router etc. just tried us east and it works for me.

Reinstalled Diablo 2. Restarted computer. Reset router.

Same issue. Doesn't matter what realm I try. As soon as I hit battle net it loads and I see the account/password screen for a split second then game crashes and the "send report to blizzard" popup appears.

Unfortunately this is for the battle.net app and not for logging onto D2's battle.net.

I've been browsing blizzard forums and it seems there's a lot of people having one issue or another currently.

Hopefully it's just some blizzard shit and it will be fixed by Friday.

Edit: I even tried to log onto open battle net and the same shit happens, so at least I know it's not my CD keys. I can't see what other issue it could possibly be.

Yes Ive seen alot of people having problem atm since reset is near. Dunno what blizzard is doing.

Okay so, I fixed it. Don't know why or how but this is what worked:

Previously had ZERO issue running the game on Windows XP Service Pack 2. For whatever reason TODAY after NO CHANGES the game decides it doesn't want to work on that compatibility mode.

Changed it to Windows 98 / Windows ME and it runs fine.

What the fuck.

blizz probably low key changed their servers

I think they deleted one of my characters, getting "Player not Found"... My other 2 are fine.
